Well, I've been promising to do this (create this blog) since, oh forever. Now that our departure date is a mere month away (gulp), I guess I'd better get down to the brass tacks. This is for all of our friends, family, our own faulty memories and any new acquaintances we meet on the way; to air our thoughts, dreams, fears, near-misses and moments that take the breath away. We may also include tedious information and too many sunset pictures. You've been warned.

We are planning to sail her down the coast of California, where we currently reside, to Mexico, Central America, through the Panama Canal, back up to East Coast of the US of A. We hope to do a lot of diving, surfing and general exploring along the way.
